Twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings, the Anjin Morning Market brings the Sashiu Omoto Fishing Port to life. Organized by the Sashiu District Promotion Council, the market opens at 7:00 AM until October, shifting to 8:00 AM from November. In October 2025, this beloved community event proudly celebrated its 5th anniversary.

Thanks to its seaside location, the market is best known for its fresh seafood, including swordfish, horse mackerel, and other local catches. A wide range of processed seafood—such as shrimp, sardines, and opened horse mackerel fillets—is also available. Complementing the catch of the day are seasonal vegetables and fruits, sold at reasonable prices, along with freshly baked bread from local bakeries that adds a comforting aroma to the morning air.
